» My I introduce myself

Hello, my name is Alfonso and I am from Spain. I am going to stay in greece for some time. I am a veterinarian of reptiles and birds, so whenever you have any question you can ask me! I will answer with no problem! Nowadays my passion are turtles, mostly tortoises and currently I am looking for a breeder who sells tortoises (Testudo, geochelone mostly) with all the papers required by law.

Where did you learn to speak Greek? And what brought you here in a Greek Herp forum?

As we've changed some msges, you've told me that you are from Spain, but you know Greek people as well.

There was a big issue raised in this forum, about the conversation for proteceted species like estudo marginata, graeca and hermanni and the "doubtfull" CITES.

Hallo alfonso,I hope to have a nice time in greece.To find this that you need is a little bit dificult but,I think there are Breeders that they will help you.Have a nice time here in Greece,and when you will go back to your country dont forget us.

I thank you all for your greetings!!! I dont receive messages in my inbox telling that someone has answered to my item, that is why it has taken so much time to me to thank you all!!! I havent found anything yet in Greece. I have found breeders of marginata in Italy, but the blood is very similar to the ones in Spain. It is a pitty. In the Netherlands I have also found but it is the same.

Furthermore, I don't think that you will find here legally the species that you seek, to "renew" your turtoises' bloodline.

If anyone here in the forum possess this species with the proper CITES papers, be sure that he/she will reply to your request.
